Business personal property (BPP) insurance typically covers property inside the building and up to 100 feet outside of the building that is not part of the permanent structure. This includes office supplies, furniture, furnishings, computers, heavy equipment, machinery, and other movable items used by your business. Warehouse or retail stock also is typically included.
BPP insurance also may include coverage for property that is in transit, such as equipment or stock being transported to another location.
